No Matter Who Won, We Must Resist

Well it appears that the election is all but over and Joe Biden will be the next President of the United States. I must admit, I completely missed on my election hypothesis; I thought white supremacy would allow Trump another term. This hypothesis was rooted in political analysis: I truly believed that Trump’s team had several plays leading up to the election, and if I had these political strategies for his victory come across my mind then surely his team would have these same strategies discussed in their war room. I thought of several plays Trump could/would make before the election: drop another stimulus right before the election, utilize his COVID diagnosis to declare martial law and shut the country down and push the election until after he “cured” the pandemic or utilize his COVID diagnosis to drop the vaccine or play up how the only way the country could beat the virus was by following Trump’s lead. What I didn’t predict was that white supremacy would turn on Trump, yes you read that right, Trump was the fall guy.
The actor was just that, an actor that played a role and when the capitalist who actually control America decided that Trump was hurting their agenda he was done. There were some warning signs, but so many people bought into the fantasy of Trump the Boogeyman. The Lincoln Project raised roughly $40 million in the 3rd quarter alone under the guise of “anti-Trump efforts” yet pushed a right-wing agenda across the elections helped secure dozens of new republicans in office. The failed amerikkkan backed coup in Bolivia also really hurt Trump because you can’t keep losing CIA assets, Lithium ain’t cheap, simple as that. Finally, Mitch McConnell came out and refused to support Trump’s charge of voter fraud and even said that a new stimulus is coming, this set off a series of republicans publicly distancing themselves from Trump. even Twitter decided to finally block his tweets. But why wouldn’t the GOP back Trump to get his case to SCOTUS to repeat 2000 with Bush v Gore with a 6–3 advantage? As Trump cries about voter fraud when was the last time Black and Brown voters had this much public support for the protection of their votes? We know that Black and minority voters have been having their votes lost for years but all of a sudden these votes were found and counted? Why? Why? Why?

Well Trump is too loud, the white supremacist capitalist fascist who really are working behind the scene to ensure fascism never dies want to be able to work without the eyes of the world on them. The Republicans and Wall Street set Trump up to fall because they understand how far right Biden and Harris already are and have been pushed even further right in this election cycle due to Trump’s attacks. The republicans know they can push their agenda in Congress and at the state level while they strategize for 2024. As the OGs say it “they playin’ the LONG game.”
“The United States is also a one-party state, but with typical American extravagance, they have two of them.” -Julius Nyerere
Why would the republicans concede the presidency? It is all strategy for those in power. Biden and Harris have run on a very conservative platform; but what more did you expect from California’s top cop and the author of mass incarceration? Biden and Harris both openly support the police and agree that “Rioting is not protesting. Looting is not protesting. Setting fires is not protesting. None of this is protesting. It’s lawlessness, plain and simple.”
Despite what any of these candidates tell you they are going to do, we know those promises are not delivered especially for Black and Brown folxs (yes I am referring to Obama). Yes, there is research and data that shows Black folxs have more income and resources when Democrats are in office but we also know that there is no such thing as a good oppressor/enslaver. Kwame Ture also reminds us that no two systems can co-exist, so either we are free or we aren’t. The Democrats claim Black Lives Matter but again how can Black Lives Matter when white supremacist systems are still functioning and causing generational harm? When the policies of your candidates and party bring terror and violence to Black and Brown people domestically and globally? We must become comfortable calling out fascists' no matter what color team they claim, both red and blue terrorize Black and Brown people. Stop giving your power away to candidates who do not care about you, take your power back — RESIST.
We must, we must understand the politics of our community and we must know what politics is supposed to produce. We must know what part politics play in our lives. And until we become politically mature, we will always be misled, led astray, or deceived or maneuvered into supporting someone politically who doesn’t have the good of our community at heart. So the political philosophy of Black nationalism only means that we will have to carry on a program, a political program, of reeducation — to open our people’s eyes, make us become more politically conscious, politically mature. And then, we will — whenever we are ready to cast our ballot, that ballot will be cast for a man of the community, who has the good of the community at heart.” — Malcolm X
Black & Brown radicals & revolutionaries have preached the need for building, serving and loving the community in order to create a transformative change. From Jesus Christ to Che Guevara; Darren Seals to Assata Shakur; Kwame Ture and Fred Hampton; all who preach a radical love for human beings have had to fight persecution from the state and its oppressive systems. And a Biden victory wont change that. While many amerikkkans will celebrate the end of Trump as an end of a dark period of amerikkkan history, to me it was everyday life as a Black man in amerikkka. The country will look for Biden’s amerikkka to simply be a return to normal, they said they were saving the soul of the nation; and yet millions of Africans and Indigenous folxs will continue to simply try to survive under these fascist systems and institutions.
The soul of this country can never be “saved” while there are stolen people on stolen land being murdered by the state every day. We must not return to normal, we must rebuke the status quo; abolition is the only reasonable and logical option. The dismantling of white supremacist systems, the returning of the land to its indigenous inhabitants, a collective consciousness to change society’s top priority from profit to people: we must unleash a radical undying love for the people. No matter who wins this election, the next one or the one after that one thing is clear: in order to be free we must look to one another to liberate ourselves, we must dismantle white supremacy through building a new world where love is the most important currency exchanged.
