Propaganda & Neo-Colonial Puppets: The Black Elite Won’t Save Us Part 3

The amerikkkan Neo-Liberal/Colonial propaganda feels to be at a premium right now, and the narrative being pushed is of a “unified amerikkka” because of “Black amerikkkans” efforts to “save the country.” All of this, after a summer where the masses dared to struggle and fight; after the masses took to the streets calling for human rights; months later the cries went from abolish/defund the police to electing the top kkkop in order to restore the soul of amerikkka. But why would/should we save any place where we are not free? “Any Black person in amerikkka, if they are honest with themselves, have got to come to the conclusion that they don’t know what it feels like to be free” (Assata Shakur). How can we be amerikkkan when we are colonized people in this stolen land?
This false idea of freedom, rooted in a false sense of amerikkkanism, is pushed through the Black Elite and misleadership class. But just in case y’all forgot, The Black Elite Won’t Save Us! I know y’all are probably tired of me saying that, but damn sometimes I feel like we still don’t get it. Say it with me “the Black elite won’t save us!” I know what folx will say, “representation matters”, and “think of what this means for little Black boys and Black girls”, so I’ll let Jalil Muntaqim give you the game. “The inspiring rhetoric … provide little solace to the degree of oppression Africans in the diaspora suffer… Needless to say, the electoral process has consistently failed to alter or change to any large degree the general condition of Black impoverishment. The political election of Blacks more often than not serves to verify and affirm the neurosis and delusions of being American, the illusion of inclusion in the American political process. This is especially true when Black elected officials maintain the policies of their class status and values, and perpetuate the system (where reform is tantamount to tokenism) of benign neglect.”
Okay but let’s celebrate Kamala as the first Black woman right? Let’s praise Gen Lloyd Austin and all the other diverse war criminals in the cabinet? I mean isn’t it Dr. King’s dream that the fascist that oppress Black and Brown Indigenous Peoples (BBIP) could be any color? Wasn’t Dr. King fighting for a world where the murderous police and elected officials could look like us? All the while Obama, Kamala, Officer Goodman, and all the other good respectable house negroes convince you how we have achieved King’s dream, the masses are left to die at the hands of amerikkka’s genocide. Assimilation by any means, even assassination, and so throughout the nation there is massive colonization that leads to our Indigenous self-deprivation until we believe we are amerikkkan.

amerikkkan propaganda works to erase and damage our connection to our history. Okay, but at least we got Harriet Tubman on the $20 now, right? You mean the same form of currency that was used to buy, sell and trade her and other Africans, that is still being used today to oppress Africans? Yeah, let’s put her on a dollar bill and tell about how she is a great amerikkkan, when in fact she was hated and hunted in amerikkka. But yet, this is how amerikkkan propaganda works. Harriet Tubman was at war with amerikkka and yet amerikkkanism teaches us to believe that because of Ms. Tubman, we should be proud to be amerikkkan. Tubman’s liberation struggle has been propagandized into a story of amerikkkan triumph instead of the amerikkkan terrorism.
The same way amerikkkan propaganda looks at reframing Harriet Tubman, we watch as the life of an all-time great baseball player (RIP Hammerin’ Hank Aaron), who was forced to fear for his life because he would dare to be better than a colonizer and amerikkka was unwilling to accept, became an amerikkkan propaganda talking point. From Bush to Biden, each living amerikkkan President (outside of Trump) weighed in on Aaron’s passing and evoked patriotic language to call Aaron an amerikkkan hero. Our peoples’ legacies are co-opted and white washed to convince us that amerikkka is better because of us.
A concerted amerikkkan effort of electing a Black kkkop after a summer where the masses showed that they were willing to fight police brutality; we went from revolution to reform in a matter of months and this pacifying of the masses was led by the Black Elite. amerikkka threw us representational crumbs and folx ate them up like Sunday dinner. The Black Elite perpetrates the idea that in amerikkka if Barack could do it, if Kamala could do it, if (insert your favorite Black politician/celebrity here) can be elected/rich/powerful that means we can too, because we are all amerikkkan and this system works. No, we are colonized Africans in the axis of evil, the fascist colonial empire known as amerikkka and therefore the Black elite (and their propaganda ) won’t save us.
The Black elite are neo-colonial agents. In other words, these are the same house negroes Malcolm called out, in short, they are the opps. This strategy of colonizers creating conditions for our own people to operate within their oppressive systems, as they leverage class status as a tool to force Africans to assimilate is nothing new. We know assimilation and neo-colonial agents are a legacy of the colonization of the Continent, from the Motherland to the plantation that is amerikkka. Personal interest, especially when tied to the idea of equality or equal status of the oppressor/colonizer, is hard for folx to turn down especially after suffering and surviving on crumbs for so long. “Imperialism feared the increasing radicalism of the people which threatened to turn into real revolution. They thought they could head this off and keep control through our own nationals. Our own nationals took over the foreign domination and exploitation. The entire operation of the neo-colonial society rested on this kind of substitution. In essence neo-colonial and colonial societies are not the slightest bit different. The colonial administration was replaced by a neo-colonial administration identical to its predecessor … Our own nationals undertook the systematic looting of our country with the support and blessing of imperialism… These people were guided only by their personal interests” (Thomas Sankara).
These evil fascist colonizers love to get our own to oppress us under the guise of progress, equality, and justice. But isn’t progress being able to live in a country where you have the freedom to be killed by a fascist cop of any color? Sorry, but I want liberation, not representation. Colonization has to do with domination, control, and violence. How much more violent can the state be than to get our own colonized people to believe in their evil imperialist agenda? The state has refined the ways to commit genocide through its uses of amerikkkan propaganda. amerikkka loves to appease its colonized citizens with symbolic measures all the while waging war. The police kill an African, the NBA strikes; people call for a massive change in policing and budgets and then push to vote for a Black kkkop with a history of hatered for Africans. These tokens of racial justice are merely cheap imitations of equality. Tokenism and symbolic progress stifles the revolutionary spirit of the masses. The Black elite understand how they stand to benefit from the current system and instead of standing in solidarity with the masses and asserting All Power to the People, the Black elite feed into the neo-colonistic system.
Please don’t be distracted by the inclusivity that is being pushed in the media, this is all predictable behavior to quell the masses. So I beg you again to stop stanning these Black Elite, they won’t save us. In the end, our only appeal will be the People.
